I must say right away that we will be talking about buying and operating a car not in Russia, so I ask you not to be surprised at the prices.)

Now we are talking about the second, nicknamed "technical".

So, in the summer of last year, the question arose about the second machine on the automatic transmission. The budget (just no laughing) - 100,000 re. 2001 Mercedes A170 

There are a lot of proposals here, but the choice fell on the A-class diesel. The hostess lived in Germany, often wandered back and forth, so the mileage of 160,000 was not embarrassing, because it was mainly on the autobahns. The woman treated the car accordingly: they said at the service station - to replace this and that, she changed it, especially without bothering, since there is money.

As a result: a new battery, new front brake discs and pads, new struts and springs around.

Among the shortcomings: a small leak of the main oil seal, a broken tie rod and an egg. Defects in the body, in some places the varnish faded, sunny days and outdoor parking, a couple of broken plastics in the cabin, a couple of scuffs on the bumpers affected. Not critical.

So, the April 2001 A170 CDI was purchased in a good Avantgard configuration and in an extended Long version. I will not say for sure, but, in my opinion, it is 22 cm longer than the standard one, almost all of which fell on the rear passengers, which is very handy (it will be seen further in the photo). Combined leather interior, front power windows, ABS, antibuks, stabilization system, cruise control, molding, Sony music.

The price at that euro exchange rate turned out to be 87500 rubles.))) Why not take something? )

We changed the oils, the draft, the egg, one nozzle (Ipala brain) and that's it. We bought new winter tires in the fall, summer tires went to the trash heap.
